Characteristics and Applications:
HERO TECH SS308L-16 is a titania type electrode, all position. The electrode contains low carbon to avert carbide precipitation during welding as well as service. Preheating and post-weld heat treatment are not neccessary. It is suitable for welding of AISI 304L, and AISI-321 steel.

Notes on Usage:

1. Keep dry. If damp, dry the electrodes at 150°C for 30 minutes before use.
2. For X-ray quality level, dry at 250°C for 30 minutes.
3. Clean up the contaminations to prevent the intergranular corrosion.
